É com profunda consternação que recebemos (de Wolfgang Mieder) a triste notícia do falecimento do nosso querido amigo e Associado Honorário da AIP-IAP – Gyula Paczolay. Ao longo de quase duas décadas Gyula Paczolay participou em vários Colóquios Interdisciplinares sobre Provérbios, em Tavira, tendo sido declarado, em 2014, “Hóspede de Honra” pelo Município de Tavira. Por seu turno, o ICP20 dedicou a secção “In Honorem” a Gyula Paczolay com um excelente texto escrito por Wolfgang Mieder.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Gyula Paczolay: A Friend, a Scholar, a Humanist
It is with deep consternation that we received (from Wolgfgang Mieder) the sad news of the death of our dear friend and Honorary Associate of AIP-IAP – Gyula Paczolay. Over the course of almost two decades Gyula Paczolay participated in several Interdisciplinary Colloquia on Proverbs, in Tavira, having been declared, in 2014, “Guest of Honor” by the Municipality of Tavira. In turn, the ICP20 dedicated the “In Honorem” section to Gyula Paczolay with an excellent text written by Wolfgang Mieder.
In this moment of sadness and enormous scientific loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his Family, researchers, scholars and friends.
